Two RIDEX wiper blade lines – conventional and beam – for clear, streak-free visibility in any weather.
Windshield wipers are a simple part with an outsized effect on driving safety: a worn or poorly fitted blade can leave streaks, skips, or noise right when clear visibility matters most. RIDEX produces two wiper blade lines that cover different construction types and use cases – the conventional RIDEX and the beam-style RIDEX PLUS product lines.
RIDEX: Conventional wiper blades

The RIDEX product line uses a conventional frame construction, with a rubber blade held against the glass by a series of pressure points along a metal frame. This design is the long-standing standard for windshield wipers and fits a wide range of vehicle types.
The rubber strip is built to resist wear over time, and it's designed to keep its original shape rather than warping or curling with age – a common failure point in cheaper blades. In use, the blade is intended to run quietly and clean effectively in winter conditions.
RIDEX PLUS: Beam wiper blades

RIDEX PLUS uses a beam (frameless) construction instead of the traditional jointed frame. Beam blades distribute pressure evenly along the full length of the blade rather than at discrete points, which is the main reason they're associated with smoother, quieter contact and more consistent cleaning at higher speeds.
The rubber strip carries a graphite coating, intended to contribute to stable performance across different weather conditions, including resistance to deformation and temperature fluctuations. The blades are designed to clean without streaking and to resist icing, so performance should stay consistent year-round. The low-profile design is meant to keep the driver's line of sight unobstructed.
The universal mounts are built to the vehicle manufacturer's specifications and are intended to fit standard wiper arm holders without extra adjustment. A built-in wear indicator shows the driver when it's time for a replacement, rather than relying on guesswork, and the blades are designed to be installed and removed without tools.
Choosing between the product lines
Both product lines are aimed at reliable, streak-free wiping. The difference comes down to construction. RIDEX follows the conventional frame design familiar to most drivers, while RIDEX PLUS is built around the beam profile associated with aerodynamic, low-profile performance.
